HELLO! Bertie here. Today we’ve got as far as letter H in our A to Z blog.
HAY is always at the top of our minds, but Mummy said everyone has blogged about hay, and shown pictures of Humphrey and George and the others hiding in it. As well as eating it of course.

So I thought I’d tell you about HOLIDAYS.
The first holiday that George’s Guinea Pig World went on was when George, Fred, Hugo and Victor went with Mummy to the Isle of Mull. That’s a very long way, and includes a trip on a boat! They went back the next year too. You can read about their trip here.

When there were five or more piggies here nobody went on holiday, because Mummy couldn’t fit everyone in the car. Mummy took a couple of holidays, but she didn’t take us with her. She went to cold places like Svalbard and Iceland.
But now we are four, Mummy’s taken us on holiday twice – to HAMPSHIRE!
We told you about the first trip here, but we went again in April, about the time we started this Blog Challenge, so we haven’t shown you the new photos.
We stayed in the same place, but it was warmer later in the week, and we went out on the grass next to the cottage. We couldn’t go on the grass immediately in front of the cottage because it had been treated with ‘Feed and Weed’ which would be poisonous to us, or at least upset our tummies. The grass we went on had dandelions and things growing in it. Mummy made sure it didn’t have daisies or buttercups in it where we were, but it was nice. The run was a bit small, though, because we were using the panels indoors as well.
Mummy went out most days but came back to give us a cuddle later on. One day she went to a place where they train racehorses. Top Tug is one of her racing club’s. He ran on Saturday and came fifth. Mummy says that’s fine for his first race of the season. She also had lunch with Dani and her Mummy, and also with her other nieces. Mummy has a very big family. Although I’ve got more family at Auntie Sophie’s house.
Anyway, that’s our Holiday in Hampshire, complete with Hay, all for H in the A to Z challenge.
I’m glad Roscoe’s doing I next week, because I have no Idea what to talk about for that!
love

Your holiday sounds fun. I’ve never been on one. The Mummy human has gone away to places – sometimes to see family, and other times to a place called “hospital” which is also a “h” word, but isn’t as nice as where you went – and the Daddy human has stayed home with us. Squeak soon, Joshua

What a fun holiday! I want to know if you pronounce our H’s, or if it is ‘oliday and ‘ampshire.
I don’t know about guinea pig accents!

What lucky piggies going on vacation! Honestly, with lots of pets I always find it restful to get away from them, although the dogs and cats are the most stressful, and cats make terrible travelers.
