Hello, Locksley here, doing the A to Z Challenge again. Our theme is questions about guinea pigs and other companion animals. Please ask us more questions so we can answer them in our later letters.
Today I’m asking Mummy about Joshua, who was a regular correspondent for years.

Mummy, who was Joshua?
Joshua was a degu. That’s a small furry rodent with a long tail.
How small?
Well from what Joshua told us, he was probably about the size of my hand, since he said he liked cuddling his mummy’s finger. You are about the size of my foot (I have big feet).

I’ll take over again now
Bertie interviewed him for the blog way back in 2019. You can read the interview here. Oh, it was part of their A to Z Challenge, but they did it once a week.
Joshua interviewed both Bertie and Roscoe on his blog, for the feature Furkids Fridays. It’s part of Auntie Tori’s Zigler News. He did long interviews, so they are all very interesting.
He also made excellent comments on this blog. We enjoyed his visits and what he had to say to us.
So if you ever look back in George’s GP World and wonder who Joshua was, that’s who.

Thanks for the information, Locksley. I had never heard of a degu before. I hope when you get to V you can talk about the veggies you guys like!

We did a whole A2Z on veggies once, Auntie Noelle. I think the older pigs liked things we don’t like much, though. Victor’s in charge of the letter V. I think he’s changed it from the original idea, which was to introduce himself. We’ll see.
I went to the vets yesterday to have my teeth done. My mouth feels funny. Mummy keeps telling me I should be able to eat properly now, but I’m not sure…

Oooh, I hope your mouth feels better soon. How have the veggies changed? That would be interesting. You need some cool slice of cucumber to sooth your mouth!
