All home safely

Hullo, Reggie here!

We are all home again. Apparently Mummy came home late on Monday, and rested on Tuesday, then she came to fetch us home.

We’re ever so glad to be back. It’s nice enough with Auntie Anna, but it’s not like having our own home. We had hutches at the rescue, and although I like the safe feeling of the roof, I realised how much more I like the open run. I can sit under the fiddlesticks if I like, but I’m coming out more often now, and go to see what Mummy’s doing too. Ronnie’s the same, although he had got a lot more cheeky over the summer, and often begs for treats even when it’s not treat time.

Pippin is happy to be home too. He didn’t really like the hutch, and although we talked to each other he couldn’t see us. I think he lost more hair, too. Mummy is thinking of making him a little blanket out of old fleece, with leg holes to keep it on, but he spends lots of time in his tunnel, so he probably doesn’t need it.

We had one afternoon out in the garden. There’s lots of grass, but it doesn’t get dry enough for us to get out. Mummy brings us grass and leaves from the garden most days, just a handful, but it’s yummy. Pippin is getting a leaf called Herb Robert, which is an interesting plant. I don’t really like it, and neither does Ronnie, but Pippin does. Mummy read that it’s being used in cancer treatments for humans. Well, maybe that’s why Pippin likes it.

So that’s us. Mummy went out to the theatre yesterday so she must be well again. I’m pleased about that.

I hope you’re well, and see you next week.
