Hi! Popcorning Pippin here again. I don’t remember when I last popcorned although Mummy says I did it a couple of times in the summer.

Ludo used to say we couldn’t go outside after equal-day-and-night time, and that’s a few weeks back, now. But Mummy moved my run into a part of the grass that got sun really late. It would go from Ronnie & Reggie’s run to mine. It was still sort of doing that on Friday, and we went out for less than an hour, but it was good to eat grass, anyway.

Yesterday Mummy came in from her forest event and checked the grass, but it was too wet. The sun was still on it, but it hadn’t dried. She said our feet would get too cold if we went out, and there wasn’t much sun on the grass anyway. It was a shame, because the sun was shining, but the shadows of our roof fell on the grass. So we didn’t go out.

I think the sun and wet grass need to be just right, and then we’ll get out for the magical ten minutes when everything is perfect.

Exciting news! Next weekend we are going on holiday to a cottage on a farm in Sussex. Mummy will take run panels, and maybe there will be nice grass in late afternoon sunshine. I’ll tell all next week (maybe not on Monday). Probably.
