Hello, Ludo here. It’s February, and it’s been sunny. I know that’s only two days, but that’s more than we had in January.

We had carrot tops last night. The man in the orange jacket delivered them, along with our lettuces and other goodies. Mummy had difficulty fitting everything into the fridge because we had the Oddbox on Saturday morning, and we haven’t finished the salad leaves from that yet. Or the broccoli, or the dragon kale, or the flat peas that Mummy has a French name for.

We also have bean sprouts. They came with the carrots. I think they’re yummy. Mummy gives us a big handful, then she cooks the rest in a Chinese meal. Those flat peas will go in that too. That’s good, as I’m not so fond of them.

Mummy is cooking for herself more often. Her wrists are a little better. She even did some work outside at the weekend. She’s trying to make space for when the kitchen gets cleared in April. There are going to be building noises, right next to our room, so we’ll be spending the days in the summerhouse provided it’s not too cold. You may think April is a long way off. I think it is too. But Mummy says she can only do a little clearing at a time and then her wrists are too tired. That must be why she left a box in the middle of our room yesterday. She was too tired to move it to wherever she put it this morning.

As you can tell, it’s all go here. I’m feeling fine now, and so is Victor. So we haven’t been to see Dr Rebekah again. I like Dr Rebekah, but I don’t like going to see her, so that’s fine by me.

We’re looking forward to when we can go out on the grass again. It’s too cold and wet at the moment, but spring isn’t far away. It’s even light in the mornings again!
