Hello, Ludo here on the first Monday of the month, as is the custom here. I don’t know why but I seem to be the only one that’s healthy.
Pippin gave us a shock last Monday morning by hanging his head on one side, like he was having a stroke. Fortunately he had only got a piece of hay stuck in his eye, and although it was painful, and he squealed when Mummy took it out, he’s fine now. He did go to see Dr Rebekah, though, who checked with the funny light that Locksley told you about a couple of years back. Pippin’s been having drops in his eye to help it mend, and he’s fine now, although going back for a checkup later this morning.

Locksley will be going too, because the antibiotics he had last month haven’t helped his breathing. Dr Rebekah said maybe he needs a scan and blood tests. He’s been a real drama Queen since Friday, hiding in his hay, making snorting noises, and worrying Mummy, in case he ought to go to see an emergency vet. He even left much of his food, although I notice he ate his favourite ones. Anyway, Mummy’s been giving him probiotic and water and extra food, and extra cuddles, and generally cosseting him, and he seems to have got through the weekend okay. So we’ll see what Dr Rebekah says when they get back this afternoon.

And Victor has some stuff leaking from the big lump behind his ear. Dr Rebekah saw it in the summer, and we know it’ll get worse, so Mummy just cleaned it up and tried to cosset him, but Victor’s not the cosseting type, really. He spent most of Saturday sulking in his corner.

We’ve had a lot of fireworks around for the last week, mostly not too close. We hope the boys next door don’t have them, but we’re getting used to them being noisy and making their football go bang against the wall. And nothing can be as bad as building work, so we tend not to worry about noises outside any more.
And I’m fine, thank you for asking. I wouldn’t mind a bit of cosseting, but not too much. Come to think of it, Mummy gives me about the right amount. How are you?
till next time
Ludo xx
Oh My Goodness Ludo .. it sounds like a real sick house at the moment. I really hope everything goes well at the vets today. I hope Mummy is coping okay too!
Stay well Ludo and I am sending you a tiny piece of cossetting just for you 💜💜💜🤞🤞🤞

Good grief, Ludo. I guess I should be happy that you are at least alright and that Pippin is recovering. I do hope the vet can help Locksley and Victor. Your Mum takes such good care of you. Sending you cuddles and cucumber.

Well, it sounds like your Mom is healthy, at least; which is a good thing.
