Hello, Locksley here. Yes, summer is officially over, and the firework season has started.
Yesterday morning, Mummy went out to the kitchen when she got up, and said something about putting the clocks back. Apparently she hadn’t. This happens when we go back onto proper time, and if we did it at the Equinox (like we do in spring), sunrise would be at 6 am. And sunset at 6pm. Well, because we do it later in autumn, sunrise is now between 6 and 7, and it’s nearly dark by 5. We don’t really mind what people call the time, but Mummy likes to get up in the light, so she’s waking up early again. Anyway, she reset the microwave clock, and set ‘summer time’ to ‘off’ on the heating. And we had our meds and things at slightly odd times, but they all happened.

We’ve been having lots of carrots lately. Last week we had them with nice green tops, but then we had the carrots in the week. I think this is supposed to keep our weight up. Sometimes it does, sometimes not. Ludo has to have Emeraid, at least 6ml morning and 5ml in the evening. I get to finish it up when he’s had his. I love Emeraid. Sometimes I can’t eat it all, though, cos I’m full. Mummy says that’s 12-15ml, which is a lot. But I’m not that keen on hay or pellets, so I need it. Anyway, both Ludo and I have kept our weight steady the past few weeks, so Mummy’s pleased with us.
Victor’s got a new trick, which is to go down to the cuddle room and push the door open to tell Mummy he’s ready to go back in his run after free time in the morning. The rest of us just wait till Mummy’s ready to put us back. And Pippin has to have his tent put at one end of the blue tunnel, then he runs through the tunnel into his tent to be picked up.
Whatever works, I suppose. Mummy just puts my tent down, and I get in it. I like to keep things simple.
Till next time
love

This switching the clocks forward and back is a pain in the neck, Locksley. I hate it, although it’s easier in the fall (for me) than in the spring. Now we will be getting up when it is still dark and have to come in when it gets dark earlier in the afternoon. I wish the powers that be would make up their minds.
PS Carrots are good – they have lots of sugar so they should help keep your weight up.

That’s pretty smart the way your Brothers tell your Mom they want to go in. We have another week or so before the clocks change back. I hate it, though.
