Hello, Locksley here again.

It’s been a very odd week.

The first drama was when Mummy was waiting for our shopping to arrive on Monday evening. She’d finished all our veggies for our Monday breakfast, and just had a little cucumber left for the night. She had run out of stuff for her drinks as well. Then when she was wondering where the delivery people were, she got a message to say they weren’t coming! She had to phone for a new delivery thing.

So she did that, and told us that she’d have to skip breakfast next day as it wasn’t coming till the afternoon. But she gave us loads of hay.

Well, the afternoon came, and the time went, and she phoned again, to discover that someone had cancelled the order! So she was a bit cross – and we were hungry. She managed to get the person in customer service to place the same order for us for early on Wednesday morning. And when she checked the email confirmation, she found that everything had been ordered twice! But she sorted that out, and eventually on Wednesday our Monday evening order finally arrived. It was lovely to get some fresh lettuce and carrot tops. Although Mummy had found a few things in the garden for us on Tuesday – just not very much, and we were out of cucumber! :O

Thursday and Friday were nice after that, except for loads of rain. Then on Saturday Mummy went out for her book sale thing, and when she got back she gave us a nice tea, then she went for a nap. All the lights and the music were on, but her nap seemed to go on for a long time.

Then she came in to see us, and said it was past midnight, except it wasn’t because it was the night for the clocks to change, so it was really only 11.30. I don’t really understand what went on with the clocks and everything, but we woke up in the morning with a bit more light than usual, and then the evening started early yesterday too. Mummy says it’ll be like that now till spring.

So as you can see it’s been a very confusing week, but hopefully it’ll all settle down now.

PS My hair is improving. Mummy did cut a little off, and she’s thinking about doing some more.
