Hello, Ludo here.
We are doing our best to keep the grass under control. Mummy moves our runs every four or five days to give us some fresh place to run around and eat. You can see how well we’ve done with the main photo, as the place our runs have just been moved from was between those two slim posts that Mummy plants to help hold our shades up.

I think that was Wednesday. Mummy is going to move the runs today before we go out. She’s done some trimming of the longest grass, though, and has it lying out on a piece of cloth in the sunshine. She says she’s making a little bit of hay. Sounds good to me.
Mummy spends a lot of time sitting next to us and reading. Then she has a snooze. Then she might get up and do something else – apart from put food out for the robin, who is very demanding. Yesterday as well as cutting some of the grass, she took the cover off the pea plants, and gave them a green fence to climb up. Then she decided to help them by fixing them to it somehow.
I can’t remember whether I like peas. She says Fred and George loved them. And she loves them, too. Well okay then. But what Fred and George liked are often not things I like. Apart from grass, carrots, lettuce, parsley and mint. I like those.
I’ll finish with a picture of Locksley and me in the garden. We’re in the shade, so it might be difficult to see. But we’re there.

Till next time
Ludo
I don’t know what your Mummy would do without you to help her keep that grass under control.

Munch, munch, much. You guys are wonderful lawnmowers! We have tons of birds here – we numbered 24 different bird calls last night. Maybe 14 of them actually come to our feeders, along with seven squirrels. Garfield, my cat, plays with them through the glass patio window.
