George’s Anniversary Fundraiser

Way-aye, Roscoe here. I’m honoured today. I’m presenting George’s Anniversary Fundraiser.

George was our founder, that’s why it’s called George’s Guinea Pig World.

And today, 17th May it is ten years since he went over the Rainbow Bridge.

From now till his (and Fred’s) birthday on June 13th, we are fundraising for our favourite Guinea Pig Rescues. Mam will match the amount raised (up to £50, she says) and we’ll send the money to East Anglia GPR (where Locksley, Ludo and Biggles came from), to North-East GPR (where Nev and I came from) and to Wheek & Squeak, which is our local one.

The Prize

There’s a prize of one or two copies (depending on the number of entries) of our lovely Notebook. You can click the sample below (or in the column at the side) to take a peek inside. The full details about it are here.

How to Enter

First off, pop over to our Fundraising page at Just Giving, or on Facebook, and donate some money. It doesn’t have to be much, but think about a bag of hay for £3, or a bag of pellets for £12, or vets bills above £40, and give whatever you can towards them. All donations go to the rescue less the Justgiving fee (which is shown on the page).

Then come back here to enter our Rafflecopter. Mam says it might not display on this page, you might have to click another link. But it’s there, really it is. Go on, and enter.

And it would be really nice if you could share this post to your friends and ask them to take part too.

Entries close at midnight UK time on June 13th (11.59 plus one minute pm.)

Please help us to raise lots of money for the rescues and enjoy George’s tenth anniversary.

Love

Roscoe

PS Mam says she’s written a short story featuring George today, and she’s including info about the Fundraiser.

We shared it on Twitter and Facebook for you. It will probably tell you on Twitter, but we couldn’t make it tag you in the post on Facebook. Hope you raise lots of money. Squeak soon, Mollie
