Mummy has been leaving the house very early in the morning the last couple of days. She’s come back a couple of hours later, just about the normal time she comes down to sort us out in the morning. She looks very tired and she eats her muesli (which smells funny, not like ours at all) when she cuddles us. She doesn’t usually do that. She usually has her breakfast after she’s fed us our nice veggies from the garden (or the fridge).
Yesterday it was dull and grey, but today it got sunnier after she went out. The birds are singing loudly. Maybe she’s looking at birds. I wish it was warmer though. The grass was white this morning which means it’s very cold out. I don’t think it’ll be warm enough for us to go and mow the grass for Mummy. It needs us to mow it, it’s getting rather long.
Colman came to see us after his cuddle this morning, just looking in at our cages. I think Mummy brought him in to weigh him. He’s a nice chap but I was busy at the time. Did I tell you about Colman and Kevin joining us? Mummy brought them home on Monday. They had been travelling for days. They were very small and light. They have put on weight since they’ve been here though. They live in the room where we have our cuddles so we can see them and they can see us then. They came out on the grass when we did the other day. Dylan told you about that. It’s funny having an extra reporter.
I think she goes to do her bird surveys, V. Mummy loves birds (not as much as she loves piggies). I love them too, but I don’t know nearly as much as Mummy does about them. My bird time is taken up by Peepers and Tweek the Satanic Conures.
C&K are doing very well. Soon you’ll be able to sit next to them and tell them all about your life with Mummy, about dear Fred, George, and Hugo, and maybe even about a Crazy American Auntie (don’t scare them, though). 😉
