There is no grass. There is quite a lot of trefoil leaves, and flowers, which sometimes attract uncommon blue butterflies. So Mummy has been putting handfuls of Readigrass, which we usually have as a treat in winter, out in our runs. It’s not been quite so hot, but we still go out quite late, when the runs have been in the shade for a while. And there’s nowhere with any more grass to move them to, although Mummy said it would be better for us to have a fresher area. But it’s too sunny still.

There is a good chance of rain tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday. I think ‘good chance’ is 50-50 over a few hours. That would be wonderful. But it’s only one day this week, then it’s back to sunshine all day. But that means our roof sends lots of killa-who’s to the electrify grid. In July it sent a record 300 kws to the grid, which would power us for two weeks in winter. I sort of understand, but George or Fred would have understood better.
I’m seeing Dr Rebekah this morning. I have a bald patch on my back. You don’t notice it unless you rub my hair the wrong way, then all you see is skin. But Mummy thinks it’s clean, and not a fungal infection. It doesn’t bother me. She says she has an idea what it might be, and I might have to have blood tests. But then again, Dr has been wanting to do those ‘next time I have a dental’ for ages, and I haven’t needed a dental. I’ll tell you what she said when I get home, so look in the comments for an update.
Ronnie and Reggie are fine, enjoying the Readigrass hugely. And the hedgehog still comes most evenings for his food and water. And Mummy went to see some of her horses yesterday, and went past Stonehenge on the way. She went with Aunties Teresa and Dani, so she could take a picture.

till next time,
love

Pippin here, back from my long journey, because there was lots of traffic. Dr R couldn’t find any cause for my bald patch, but she did find I’d lost hair all over the place, so it probably wasn’t what Mummy thought it might be. But it’s not mites or fungal. She’s invited me back for X-rays and blood tests on Friday. Then we have to wait for the test results. I hope I pass.

Not an invitation I would be excited for. But, I will pray it’s nothing serious.
Send some Rain our way, if you can.(NV). We haven’t had many Monsoons yet and we need some rain.

I wonder what the spirits of the original builders and architects of Stonehenge would make of us driving by in our Petrol Chariots with our hand held pictograph capture tools. They might think of us as nosey gods…then get back to work sowing and harvesting in those rolling hills. 🗿
