Hello, Ludo here.
So, Locksley jumps in on my day (first Monday of the month), and proceeds to imply that I am on my last legs.
Nothing is further from the truth. I may have a touch of cystitis, which Mummy only realised on Friday, but all this ‘hiding with my head on a corner’ is complete nonsense. If I remember rightly, I found an interesting smell in the corner, and was sitting quietly, cogitating, when Victor came past. I doubt he even realised I was there.

So Locksley was completely wrong. Maybe he didn’t have enough to talk about last week, so he made it up. I haven’t got much to talk about this week, but I’m not going to make it up.
Mummy is still suffering from her URI, but she’s not coughing so much today. Yesterday she managed to go a whole hour at a time without coughing. But she cancelled her orienteering that she was looking forward to, and she cancelled her Romsey book fair on Saturday. She said it was because she did not feel up to the walking and the stairs. Apparently there is a lot of walking and stairs at Romsey. She’s only got one more fair this year, at the end of November, and I’m sure she’ll be better by then.
Meanwhile, we’re all fine here — even Locksley!
love

I’m so glad to hear you are OK Ludo, along with everyone else but your Mum. Your poor Mum. Tell her that we use some cough drops made in England for our coughs and they work very well. They are called Jack’s. It’s hard to find them here but when we do, we load up! She made a wise decision to rest up and get over her URI. Nasty thing!
