Hello, Locksley here.
It’s been a nice week. We got to go out on the grass for a little while most days. I generally went out with Victor, with Ludo going out first, then Pippin afterwards. We went into the covered run, and sometimes Mummy put the sunshade over it. The grass is yummy, but there’s a lot of it. I don’t know how we’re going to keep mowing it all when Mummy only puts us out for half an hour or so at a time.
Yesterday only Victor and I went out. It was sunny for a while, then it got cloudy and the wind was cold so we came in. Mummy cut some tufts of grass for us anyway, so Pippin and Ludo caught up.
But yesterday was also weigh-day, when Mummy weighs us and makes notes on how we are. And she’s been checking on my feet for a while because she wasn’t happy with them. Well, yesterday I wasn’t happy with my left hind foot. It’s very sore, even though she’s been putting foot cream on it. She realised it was hurting, because I told her so. I didn’t do anything drastic, just moved it away when she touched it. So she had a good look at it and couldn’t decide what was happening. So she’s going to take me to the vet as soon as she can get an appointment. Apparently Ludo also has a funny patch on his feet, but the others are fine. She might take Ludo too.
And I’m still losing weight, but only 10 g this week, which Mummy says isn’t much. But she’s giving me extra food and she’d like me to put a little on, not lose it. Ludo is losing weight, and he’s nearly at a good weight for his size, so he can stop losing soon too.
So I’ll let you know what happens, when it happens.
Till next time
Locksley xxxx
I am so sorry to hear about your foot, Locksley. I hope it is something like a simple sprain. And you need to eat! Ludo sounds like his weight is good so I hope everything else is OK. Lots of lovely green grass, I see!

I’m sorry about your foot. I hope it’s nothing the vet can’t easily sort out for you.
