Zzzzzz is supposed to represent the sounds people make when they’re sleeping. And it’s our Z for the A to Z Challenge today – the very last day! I’m Biggles. I’m a guinea pig, and with my mates Ludo and Locksley we’ve been blogging about our favourite things from A to Z all month. Thank you for being with us, and I hope you enjoyed it.

Zzzzzz

I love sleeping. I can zzzzzz all day. Well, apart from eating and other things, it’s my favourite occupation.

I think Ludo showed you me during run time at the moment…

I can sleep in lots of places. I sleep in my tunnel, or with my chin on the edge of my bed, or on my snugglesack, or in my bed, or in my snugglesack, on in a pile of hay… well, you get the picture.

Mummy likes taking pictures of sleeping guinea pigs. She says it’s hard to do, because we often sleep with our eyes open. That’s because we’re prey animals, Mummy. We have to keep an eye out for danger even when we’re asleep.

But as we get older, and very used to Mummy, it happens more often that we really zzzzz out and let her take a picture of her if she must.

    Oh, I love naps! I take them in my cave, in my tunnel, on or near my basking slab, or wherever I decide to dig in for one. I’ve napped on Mummy once or twice too. And one time, when I got super tired from exploring and climbing over them, I dug in among the throw pillows on the sofa and took a bit of a nap there too.
