Hello Ludo here.

it’s been a much cooler week this week and we haven’t gone out many days.

Locksley went to see the vet but he came back perfectly okay and he had some hair cut off his sides so that they could see his insides better. Mummy calls them his ‘go-faster’ stripes. He’s going to talk to you about it next week and explain more about it. I think there’s a photo with his insides as well– if you can see anything, that is.

I much prefer it now it’s cool. When it was hot I used to have to stay in the shade most of the time. Now it’s cool I can run around on the grass. We also had a little bit of rain to help the grass grow, but it’s not very long and it’s not very juicy. I expect it will get better with more rain.

Mummy gave us a very small breakfast yesterday. I was very disappointed. But a bit later she went out and brought lots of leaves from the garden, so that was excellent. She said there wasn’t much left in the fridge and we won’t get anymore until tonight. I suppose we’ll just have to starve.

I suppose we have to forgive Mummy because she isn’t very well. Apart from all her hand and neck problems she’s also got a bad leg and also her eye is all red. She says it hurts when she bends over. I hope she gets well soon. I don’t like it when Mummy is not well. It messes up our breakfast – and all our other routines as well. But she still changed our beds yesterday on schedule.

Oh, and there were some things called balloons floating in the living room, moving about in the breeze from the window. I didn’t like those at all. I hope they leave soon.
