This week

Hello.  Percy here. [Kevin is checking]

The sun has been shining.  We went on the grass a few days ago [Saturday].  It was nice.  We were in a bigger run.  I liked it.  I didn’t need to eat much.  I was full from the grass Mummy brought in earlier.  [I think she’d been to the other garden.  It was a huge pile she brought back for each of us, she said she forgot there’s only four of us to eat it now.]

Mummy went outside yesterday.  She came in and went out lots of times.  One time she brought grass in.  She said the grass was too wet to go out.  She was sad.  Outside is nice, but grass is the same.  I don’t want to get wet feet.

Mummy says Oscar has had a person-allity trans-plant.  I don’t know what she means.  He does seem very cuddly with her.  And he doesn’t make such a fuss about being picked up.  I don’t think he’s bitten her recently either.  That’s good.  I don’t understand why he bit her.  She’s a nice mummy.

Mummy took my old cage away.  Oscar says that means she’s not bringing anyone else home.  Well, that’s good if nobody needs a nice home.  It’s very nice here.  I’m glad Mummy brought me home.  What else should I say, Kevin? [That’s fine Percy, you can stop now.]

I’ll stop now.  See you next week.

  1. Nice to hear from you, Percy. Maybe Oscar’s being nicer because with fewer of you, he has more space and gets more attention. Just saying. I miss Dylan and Dougal, too. Hopefully the sun will shine more and the grass will dry out. Our grass here is growing so much we have to mow it twice a week. Always lush and green in the spring but as soon as the heat comes, it will brown and a slow down growing until fall.
