Hi! Pippin here again.

The sun disappeared early on Wednesday. Mummy was wandering around the garden with funny glasses over her eyes trying to take pictures of why the light had gone all funny. Then it stayed dusk for ages. Then it got dark, but we were already back in our indoor runs by then, and Mummy had taken the glasses off. I’m supposed to tell her if she ever needs them again, they are in the blue box in her desk drawer. So now you know where to find them if you need them.

On Sunday the sun stayed behind the clouds all day. It was wonderful! Mummy said it was a proper English summer day, with temperature in the 70s (25 in real numbers). We went out early in the afternoon and it was lovely. Except for the grass, but we had Readigrass with added herbs to look for. I enjoyed it, and I think the others did too. We were out all afternoon, instead of only an hour before it gets dark. Mummy went out for a little walk before that, and it’s ages since she’s been out in the middle of the day.

I think it’s going to stay warm and cloudy for a few days, but there’s a rumour that it might rain on Thursday. I wonder how long it will take till the grass grows again?
