Hello, Locksley here.
Yesterday it got warmer (and wetter) outside. It was very windy last night, but it looks green outside again. Last week it looked white all day because the frost didn’t melt on the grass. It was sunny, though, but by the time the day warmed up a bit, the sun was on the other side of our house, and the grass was in shade. It’s funny, really. All summer Mummy wants shade on the grass so that we can go out there in safety, and the sun shines on it all the time. Winter when we’d like it a bit sunnier, it’s all shady. Ah well. We’ll enjoy the summer now we’ve got the big shade thing over our grass.
When will summer come, though?
Mummy’s very pleased with me. I’ve sorted out my tummy, which was sore, because my wee was very dark. She gave me the special powder for sisterses*. That makes my wee clean again, and takes the soreness away.
She also gives me Emeraid, which is a special supplement for poorly piggies. Biggles and Neville used to have it, and after the first time, I realised why — it’s delicious! I’ve put on weight as a result. She’s even more pleased with me. I just started a new packet of Emeraid yesterday. She says it should last me till the end of the year.
And we started a new bottle of Metacam on Saturday. They usually last just over two months. Ludo, Victor and I all have that. It’s for pain – Ludo & Victor have arthritis and I have teeth roots. We’ve had it daily for ages now. It definitely helps.
We also get our Joint Support tablets each night. Mummy searched everywhere yesterday, but couldn’t find the new packet. So we finished the old packet last night, and she says we’ll have to go without until they arrive. Lots of stockists haven’t got any at all. She found some somewhere called EBay. Not even any on Amazon, except for a packet at £24. That’s nearly 50p for every biscuit. Mummy was shocked, but she says they get imported from the USA and they are probably sitting in Customs somewhere.
Mummy says funny things sometimes.
I expect you know that already.
Love

Hi Locksley, I’m happy to hear the weather is improving. It is bitterly cold here for North Carolina. To me, who lived in the northeast for so long, it seems normal. But it’s warming up a lot later this week. I’m also glad to hear the medicine in working for you. And hopefully delivery will come soon!

I think we are all ready for Summer soon. It’s been weird weather everywhere. It’s been raining on and off for 3 days straight here in Nevada’s. I am glad your meds are working.
