Hello, Pippin here.

it seems like a very long time since we went to the vet last Monday. She was very nice to Ludo and said he should keep taking his meds but he needn’t come back to see her unless he needed to. Then she stuck a needle in his side and he went OW OW OW OW OW!!!! She went to a machine in the corner, and came back to us and said there was nothing to worry about, but keep an eye on it. I really don’t understand humans sometimes. Keep an eye on what? How? I don’t understand that, but Mummy does, apparently.

Then she saw me, and weighed me, and checked me all over. Then she felt me all down my spine and that hurt, just behind my shoulders. I went OW like Ludo had, and she apologised, which was something. And now I have to have Metacam the same as Ludo. It’s not too bad, just a bit of a pain having to have it.

So that’s the major news.

The kitchen men have gone, and Mummy did lots of washing with her new machine. She says the programmes take a very long time. She was out all day Saturday and Sunday, with her books. She set the machine to wash something when she was out, and it hadn’t finished when she got back. She said that was four hours, which is ridiculous. Well, it’s all afternoon, and the old machine did it in an hour.

She’s been trying work out where to put things, like her bottles. And the kitchen isn’t finished. Something has to be reordered from Germany. But Mummy ordered something extra, and she’s hoping it’ll get here in time for the men to put that in as well, to keep her happy about the delay. Our new fridge is working well, though. The lettuce is a bit cold. It tastes fresh, which is good. And we’ve had lots of grass time.

So you can see we’ve been busy this week.
