Hi! Yes we’ve had all that weather this week.
Most days we’ve been out for at least an hour. Sometimes it’s been late if Mummy’s been out. Friday it had been wet, but the sun had come out, and Mummy checked the grass and said the rain had dried up already. Saturday we stayed out in a little rain shower, even Mummy didn’t bother to get up or put a coat on or anything. And then it started thundering, even though we were in sunshine. Mummy said she could see the storm clouds on the other side of the tree, and they were heading towards the garden centre. So we stayed out, eating grass (us) and reading a book (Mummy).
It was nice out on fresh grass. It had grown! Even with just a couple of days rain there was much more to eat, even though our runs were in the place Mummy moved them to on Tuesday. We had eaten most of it on Wednesday, but it was back again after the rain. Isn’t that clever! Grass is wonderful stuff. I’d rather have grass than most other things we eat.
Ronnie & Reggie have got very brave, and come out for their treats now. And I notice that Ronnie came into his tent after floor time with no persuasion from Mummy. Reggie is nearly there, but needs a helping hand sometimes. Ronnie has a strange high-pitched wheek. It’s almost like singing. I think he did it yesterday because Mummy took his big waterbottle away. There’s the smaller one, and she fills it up a lot (because he drinks a lot).

Mummy took his big water bottle away at the same time she took mine away on Saturday. She tried to fix their leaking. She brought them back again, but by Sunday morning all the water was out again. She had a dish under mine, which was full, so she put it back in again, and fiddled with the nozzle a bit, and it seems to have worked. Ronnie’s didn’t, and he has to drink from the small bottle, which Mummy checks every time she comes in, and fills up lots of times. She said something about getting a new bottle for them. She tried three other bottles, but they didn’t work either. It’s something to do with leakage from the spout. (You see, I was listening when she told us what was wrong!)
Anyway, we all have water, and Mummy will see about a new bottle. She says there’s no guarantee it won’t leak though. Although maybe they’ll have sorted the design out after ten years, which is how old these are. Some are more like eighteen years old, she said. She hasn’t bought a new one since at least Kevin and Colman arrived, which was 2012. More than ten years, then. Maybe they deserve to leak a bit. Just not as much as Ronnie’s was.
So that’s this week’s news. Something different might happen this week because it’s September now, but Mummy says apart from the earlier nights, it won’t do much different. Maybe a bit more sun, but cooler. Apparently we are heading towards Fred’s Equal Day And Night Time. You probably know more about that than I do.
See you next time
love

I’m glad you’re all doing well, Pips.
Lynley’s and Julius’ water bottles are also very old. I don’t think they make the style we like anymore, so we’re holding on to them.
Your indoor and outdoor setups are very spacious and lovely. Mummy works hard to keep you boys happy.

A great report, Pippin! I’m glad to hear you are getting good grass, but yes, it needs rain. It sounds like Ronnie and Reggie are feeling more at home, and your Mummy takes such good care of you!
