We’ve still got mites

Well, I haven’t, but Mummy found something suspicious in Reggie’s hair, and as it was two weeks since their last treatment and four weeks from our first, she gave them some more spot-on. She says if that doesn’t fix it they’ll have to have baths.

Oh, not baths 🙄😵‍💫

It’s been wet again, and windy, and then dry again. Mummy went out and got us some grass yesterday, and it was pretty damp. Lovely, but I wouldn’t have wanted to stand outside on it. I suppose I might have done for a minute or two, like when Mummy took that picture of me on the table outside the cottage. She snuggled me back inside pretty quickly, but it was nice to see what it was like outside.

We’re in that season where there are lots of noises outside in the evening. I don’t mind as long as Mummy is around. I mean, I know they aren’t going to come inside and hurt me. Even when we had builders inside it wasn’t too bad. The last of the builders is coming in next week, to do the decorating in the kitchen. The kitchen is finished except for that. It’s taken a long time. Ludo was still here when they started. We went through the main noises together. I still miss him. Mummy misses him too, and Victor and Locksley. She said it’s a year tomorrow since Locksley died. She sounded sad. A year’s a long time though.

And if they hadn’t gone over the Rainbow Bridge, we couldn’t have rehomed Ronnie and Reggie from the rescue. I think they’re better off with us here, with or without mites. Preferably without, though.

Till next week

love

Hi Pippin – I sure hope those mites decide to go away soon. How lovely to have the house finished and done with … Mummy will be pleased with the kitchen. Sorry it’s so long til Spring comes … take care – cheers Hilary

  2. You are such a handsome group! I hope those mites don’t decide to migrate – they are nasty. And I can imagine you don’t like baths, not being water animals.

Hopefully everyone will like the kitchen when it’s done. Ear scratches to all of you.
