Hi! Sir Pippin the Popcorn here. Auntie Dawn has a new piggy to join Julius after their bereavement. Lord Percy Percy. Auntie said his name was officially Percival, but I think Lord Percy Percy is brilliant, don’t you?
We’ve had a lot of melon this week. I like a little melon, but not a lot. And like Victor I like the skin, not the squidgy flesh. Mummy eats most of the flesh, but there’s always some left on the skin. Ludo used to like the squidgy bit, so that worked well, cos I got his leftover skin and he got my squidgy bits. But now it seems Ronnie and Reggie eat a bit of skin, but not much. Mummy says she’s going to revise her ideas of melon for treats. She only got to like it because Fred and George adored it. I like a little, Mummy, but only once in a week, okay?

We went out for a short while on Thursday and Friday, then it rained at the weekend. Mummy dried the grass with a towel before we went out. It was nice in the sunshine, but it got too cold in the shade so we came in. All that time in the summer when we had to wait for the shade to come over us, and now we’re hoping it stays away! Isn’t life funny.
That sounds like a good place to stop. Have a nice week,
love

Thanks, Pippin, for the shout-out to Lord Percy Percy. He is as silly as this nickname suggests. He’s loud, too. I think he started wheeking on day two. He’s got quite a little attitude on him. ❤
None of my boys have had melon. We don’t buy it, because I don’t like it at all, and their dad is indifferent to it. They all look delicious — watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe — and I’ve retried them over the years, but I just can’t bear them.
I’m sure Mummy will figure out a new treat regimen for you boys.
