Hi! How do you like the colour? Mummy said it was a bit bright, but I think we need it. It’s a nice ginger colour, like me.

Did I tell you about Ronnie & Reggie’s haircuts? They had them early last week. Mummy cut off between 2 and 4 centimetres, she said. That’s a little more than an inch. She was very pleased with the way the boys sat nicely while she trimmed them. They’ve obviously been through this before.

Mummy said she was out of practice and they are a little ragged, but she’ll do better next time.

She asked me if I’d like my hair cut, but I think she was joking.

Mummy was out all weekend in Salisbury at the craft fair. She sold lots of books. She changed our beds on Saturday night when she got back, instead of doing them in the morning. And we still went out on the grass for a bit, even though the sun was behind the cloud. They say it might rain next week, but everything’s awfully dry, and some of mummy’s water barrels are empty.

Other than that it’s all the same here.
