Hello, Pippin here.
Apparently it’s March. That’s the third month of the year. We’re at the start of spring. There are some yellow flowers in the garden and Mummy saw a big bumblebee drinking from them. It gets light in the morning nice and early, and it stays light later in the afternoon.
But it’s still cold outside, and we didn’t go outside for grass. Mummy brought us some in. It didn’t last long. Mummy has been busy with horses this week. And then with people sliding down mountains on flat things called skis. Ludo and I just got on with our afternoon teas and our hay. But she made a new herb garden, with an apple tree in the middle, on Monday.

Most days Mummy brings our cucumber, biscuits and hay at the right times in the evening. We’ve got her well-trained, although Ludo does tend to squeak very loudly if she’s late. He has no patience. Not like me!
see you next time
Pippin
