Hello, I’m Pippin, and I like being in our garden.

We go out in the garden most days when it’s sunny. Usually the sun gets to hide behind the house, but if it’s not too hot, Mummy sometimes puts us out when the sun is in our runs. But she makes sure we also have shade then if we want.

Locksley always seems to want shade. I hardly ever get to play with him. He’s always hiding under something. Victor likes to run around in the sun, and he’s fun to talk to because we growl at each other a lot. Ludo’s not such fun, but he looks at me as if I’m something he can’t puzzle out. We talk sometimes, but he likes sitting in his tent a lot when we’re out.

I only sit in my tent when it’s time to go in. Usually the others go in first. Then I run down my blue tunnel into my tent and Mummy picks me up and takes me indoors to my cage. Sometimes I think it’s a bit early to go in, and because I’ve got a secure cover on my run, Mummy can leave me out longer if I insist. I don’t often insist, though, because it’s usually cucumber time when we go in.

Mmm. Cucumber.
