Hello, Locksley here again.
Mummy was out in the garden doing some work yesterday. Not for long, but she can’t use her hands on gardening for very long. She said she got half a vegetable bed ready for when our seeds grow. She sowed the lettuce and spinach seeds last week, and they are on the bathroom windowsill, in a plastic bag, until they sprout.
Isn’t that exciting?
I don’t know what other seeds she’s going to sow yet, but I’ll tell you when I know.
Sometimes she brings us in some celeriac leaves that have grown through the winter, but this time she brought us leaves she was pulling out of the patch she was cleaning up. It was the one that had the cucumbers last year (the one closest to the holly bush). We could eat some of them, but not the dock or forget-me-not. So we had Herb Robert and Wild Strawberry leaves. She forgot to take photos of them before we ate them, though. I thought there might be dandelion leaves, but she said she’s leaving them to grow a bit more so we can eat them all year long.

We’ve had some sunny days and some very rainy days this week. But it’s dawn earlier, and sunset later. So we should soon be able to go out on the grass. I can’t wait. Although the things Mummy brings in help!
We’re all fine, although Ludo’s tooth has broken off again. He seems to manage fine with it, though.
See you next time
love

A lovely post, Locksley. I wonder if wild strawberry leaves are good in salads. At least they are a treat for you boys!
