Is it cold where you are?

Hello, Locksley here again.

I have to say, we’re all quite warm enough in our houses, especially when we hide in the hay or settle in our snugglesacks and tunnels. But it does seem to be very much colder outside. Several times this week the moon has been shining brightly outside on white ground. Mummy says it’s frost, not snow, but it has been below freezing on several nights.

As you can imagine, we’re not going outside at the moment. Mummy goes out sometimes, but not for long, and most times she goes in her car. She did say she might take Victor and I to the vets for a check-up before Christmas, though. That would be nice. I haven’t seen Dr Rebekah for ages.

Victor has got a lump by his private bits. Mummy says he’s got cauliflower sheath, but not at the end, where it usually shows. He might have something lumpy further up. Victor says that whatever I do, don’t get this, because it’s most embarrassing to have to show it to anyone. I’m not entirely sure what he’s talking about, but since it’s private bits, I suppose I’ll just accept what he says and leave it at that.

I haven’t got anything wrong, although Mummy is still concerned about my weight. She’s been giving me yummy Emeraid, which is a lovely sort of smoothie that she makes in the morning and feeds me by tube. I even let her wipe my chest down afterwards to make sure I haven’t dribbled it. Lots of other people have had it – Biggles was the last. Mummy thinks Colman and Kevin were the first. Or maybe Victor the first. They all loved it, too. I’ll see if we have any old photos to show you.

So that’s what’s going on here, and I hope all is well where you are.

Ludo will be here next week. He’s in a very good mood at present. We even talk to each other.

love

  1. Mummy here. I managed to clean Victor’s privates thoroughly today. He had a big wedge of cheesy stuff around his penis, which not surprisingly was somewhat swollen. He seems much more comfortable now, and I can’t see that lump that first alerted me to the problem.
Cleaning boar bits is one of those things that some boars need a lot, but I haven’t had one that needed it for some time.

  2. Glad to hear that Victor is cleaned up. Those penile glands can be problematic. We are similarly cold here at night but we warm up in the daylight. And we have had a lot of sun and not much rain at all. Hugs and ear scritches to the boys.

Saku was the last to have a penile issue in this household. We noticed that he wasn’t moving around much. When we picked him up, we saw that his penis was sticking out. I think it was your mummy who suggested putting some diaper cream on it and popping it back into place. He was fine after that. You boars do have issues with your parts, don’t you? It’s chilly here too, Locksley. We’re all staying warm indoors. XOXO
