Hello, Ludo here again.

I hope you enjoyed Guinea Pig Awareness Week.

We did. The weather wasn’t that good, but we were able to get out in the late afternoons on several days, when the grass was more or less dry. It was certainly warm enough for us. And anyway Mummy always gives us our tents and tunnels so we can always take shelter if we want somewhere warmer.

Mummy took some photos of us on Saturday. She’s been busy all week, with lots of times going out in her car. One day she was all dressed in black, but she was too tired to go out later to the wake, or whatever she said it was called. And we met Nelson from next door because he’s come round a couple of times. He’s a bit lonely now, but I’m afraid I was a bit too shy to say hello to him. Maybe next time.

I don’t know what’s happening this week. It’s October, so we won’t go out many more times, but Mummy always gives us a nice run in our room in the morning. Somebody says there might be yet another heatwave, which would be very unusual for this late in the year. Although maybe they just mean it’ll be warmer than normal.

It was nice to get a message from Auntie Dawn last week. We hope everything is okay with you and the peegs, Auntie Dawn, because we saw that you had terrible storms and flooding. We all send love and hugs.
