Hello, Ludo here.
You know we had our awning fitted? Mummy put it out on the first two days and it hasn’t been out since. It’s been cloudy or raining nearly every day. Maybe Mummy should have left it off and it would have got too hot for us. Apparently that’s somebody’s law… you always get the opposite of what you want, or the worst outcome, or something.
Anyway, we’ve been out for almost exactly half an hour last week. The grass was dry enough, but the clouds were coming in from the northwest, and Mummy was watching them carefully. Given the number of times she’s gone out to check whether the grass is dry enough, and come in straight away as it started to rain again, I suppose half an hour is good. It was nice, that’s my opinion. But a little but earlier in the day when it was a little warmer would have been nice too.
We get to run around on the floor in the mornings, though. That’s usually about an hour or so, except if Mummy’s going out. She has to go out early for her craft fairs. She’s finished the book about Roscoe and Neville’s adventures, and has it ready to sell this coming Saturday in Romsey. (you can click the preview on the right of this page). I hope she sells some after all the trouble it caused her. I suppose you can expect Roscoe to cause a little bit of trouble. I met him, of course. Neville was a nice chap but Roscoe was a bit bossy. He kept telling me to calm down and enjoy life here. Well, I suppose he was right about that. I wasn’t very well when I knew him so he maybe thought I was a bit strange.

I’m a lot better now. Mummy agrees. She says I’ve relaxed and I give her lots of love which I didn’t used to do. I tried to, but now I can relax with her and enjoy life more.
I’d enjoy life even more if we got out in the garden most days. Mummy says the weather will probably be better in September, when it’s supposed to get worse. Mummy does say that sort of thing you know. Now you know why I get confused by her.
See you in September.
Ludo
PS We get lots of leaves from the garden for breakfast. And home grown cucumbers – we’ve got lots of those, too. Yummy!

So good and bad with the weather, Ludo. The rain helps the cucumber. I’m sure you’re getting the right amount of exercise because your Mum watches over you carefully. We had a week of cooler weather and some of our trees started to turn. Go figure! Nice hearing from you!

Is the book going to be published on Amazon too and are all the stories true?
Please ask your Mom for me. I am interested.

Humans are always confusing. But, anyway, I’m glad you’ve been able to have some outside time, and also that you’re calmer and happier in your home now. Hope your Mummy sells lots of copies of the books. And also that digital copies will be made available later, because I know my Mummy would love to read those stories.
Oh, and sorry I haven’t been around for a while. Some bad stuff has been going on. Mummy says if your Mummy reads her posts from the last two Fridays she’ll understand.
