Hello, Locksley here again.
I had my third birthday yesterday, and we had a party on the grass, with the awning out for extra shade.
There was yummy cake. Mine had three candles on it and Victor scoffed half of it before I could even get to it. But as he doesnt have a birthday to celebrate, I suppose I’ll let him off. There’s just me and Pippin that have set birthdays. Pippin and Ludo had separate portions in their runs, and Mummy gave them a bit of ours when we went back inside, as we hadn’t finished it. Well, it was a big cake.

I have messages for people who replied last week. Mummy is trying to keep the price of the new book to something affordable for parents of seven-year-olds. She says Amazon have just put their distribution charge up again, so it would be too much if she were to sell it in the online stores. You can buy it direct by using the preview link in the sidebar, or email Mummy and she’ll sell you a copy and send it to you if you’re in the UK. And the idea is that it’s a book for seven year olds, so she’s not going to even try to get the layouts done for Kindle. There are 45 illustrations. But it only takes about ten minutes to read out loud, so she’ll try to do an audio version for Auntie Tori.
And Auntie Cats, asking about whether the adventures are real. Mummy would never let there be a hole that we could climb out of at night and go for adventures in the dangerous world outside. Although Roscoe has had a bath, so that bit is real.
We have someone coming today to see us. It’s a friend of Mummy’s who is thinking of getting her own guinea pigs for the first time, so she’s coming to see us and find out more about what we do. Mummy’s asked us to act as if we’re ordinary pigs, if possible.
It’s hard being special.
See you next week
love

Bask in being special Locksley and I’m glad you had such a great birthday cake, It looked good even to me, I understand about the Amazon prices going up – ifyou don’t increase your book price, you lose money!

Happy Birthday! I think I asked the same question. Be good for the Lady. I’m sure you want her to save some of your relatives.

Happy belated birthday. Sounds like you had fun celebrating.
I think Mummy would love an audio version if your Mummy could do one. She’ll email your Mummy about it when she gets a chance.
